Queensland Student Hub live and further crisis support for students
As part of the COVID-19 Immediate Industry Recovery Package, wellbeing services are now available to students across Queensland via an innovative digital platform. The Queensland Student Hub has been established online to complement support provided by the existing Student Hub Network in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Cairns. Students can book online appointments with support officers who will be available to assist them amidst the pandemic and provide individual counselling.
Ensuring all students can access student support services for free during this time of anxiety and uncertainty is a priority for Study Queensland and the Queensland Government.
Study Queensland has also partnered with GIVIT - an aggregator of charities and donations which supports people in need during COVID-19. Through the Queensland Student Hub, GIVIT will be drawn upon to further assist international students requiring crisis support. Students should be directed to book an appointment via the Queensland Student Hub to access this support.
