An Important Message from the Principal Regarding Student Visa Conditions
Dear Students,
In light of the recent crackdown on cancellation of student visas, we want to bring to your attention to important matters regarding your student visa obligations and responsibilities.
It has come to our attention that there may be some confusion regarding leave, non-payment of fees, and holidays outside of your term breaks. We want to emphasize that these actions are considered a breach of your student visa conditions and must be followed diligently to avoid any termination of your enrolment.
Here's what you need to know:
Payment of Fees: Timely payment of fees is crucial to maintaining your visa compliance. Failure to pay fees on time as required may result in serious consequences, including termination of your enrolment and visa status. Please ensure you are aware of your instalments as listed and agreed upon in your offer letter. You should receive emails from CTI Payments 2 weeks prior to any upcoming due payments. Please see the payments team if you are unsure of dates and amounts- payments@cti.qld.edu.au
Leave: You are allowed to take leave only during your course official term breaks. Unauthorized absences may lead to violations of your visa conditions.
Leave Outside Term Breaks: If you plan to take leave outside of your scheduled term breaks, it is essential to ensure that these do not interfere with your academic obligations. Moreover, any extended absence must be lodged and reported as a DEFERMENT to avoid issues with your visa status. Any leave taken outside of your term breaks can only be approved if reasons and evidence submitted are deemed compassionate or compelling. This must be communicated and approval sought by the student services team in advance.
We understand that navigating visa requirements can be complex, but compliance is essential to ensure your continued studies and stay in the country.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your visa conditions or need assistance in understanding them better, please do not hesitate to reach out to the student support services.

I hope this message finds you well. As we strive to maintain the highest standards of education services for our students here CTI, I wanted to inform you of an upcoming change regarding certain fees & charges.
After careful consideration and review of our systems and processes, the decision has been made to include and adjust the fees associated with the services provided. This change is necessary to ensure that we can continue providing the level of excellence and opportunity that our students deserve.

Dear CTI Students (Brisbane Campus),
This is a reminder that all students using personal electrical transport to CTI Campus must park the same at the basement level of the building. If theft is a concern, please ensure to bring your own bike locks to lock it up in the basement.
Please be advised that any such electrical vehicles found on campus premises will be confiscated and further official action will be taken.
