Harmony Week- 16 - 20 March 2026
Dear Students,
CTI will be celebrating Harmony Week from 16–20 March 2026 across both campuses. During this week, we encourage all to take part in activities that celebrate the diversity of our learning community.
Harmony Week is a great opportunity to recognise and appreciate the many cultures represented within the IT industry and our classrooms.
We encourage you to participate by:
- Wearing orange during the week, which is the official colour of Harmony Week.
- Bringing a flag from your home country to share with classmates.
- Sharing a traditional food from your culture.
- Giving a short presentation about your culture or technology in your country during class discussions.
These activities help us build a respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for everyone.
Your trainer will reach out/discuss this with you. Please feel free to reach out to them.
Thank you for your participation.

CTI will be compelled to report this misconduct within the Department of Home Affairs portal as well as notify any other relevant authorities.
Hence please ensure that only valid and true documents are submitted.
Unauthorised alteration of documents could result in 10 years imprisonment under the Crimes Act.

The Department of Home Affairs – Online Survey for temporary migrant workers – international students
Dear Students,
The Australian Government is conducting research into temporary migrant workers in Australia. The research findings will help inform an education and information campaign for temporary migrant workers and employers about workplace rights and visa obligations, as well as recent reforms that strengthened migrant worker protections.
The Department is looking for international students working in Australia to take part in a short, online survey as part of this important research. The survey is available in 12 different languages. To access and participate; please click on the below survey link:

FACT SHEET ON PROTECTION VISAS
Dear Students,
In light of the exploitation of the protection visas, the Australian Government would like to ensure correct information about Protection visas reaches international students and other temporary visa holders so they:
• understand that Protection visas are for asylum seekers, not for people who just want to stay longer in Australia to work
• are aware of the adverse consequences of lodging a non-genuine Protection visa application
• don’t fall prey to migration scams or unlawful providers of immigration assistance.
Please refer to the attached flyer for more information in relation to protection visas.
Kind regards,
CTI Administration
