FACT SHEET ON PROTECTION VISAS

by Student Services -

Dear Students,

In light of the exploitation of the protection visas, the Australian Government would like to ensure correct information about Protection visas reaches international students and other temporary visa holders so they:

understand that Protection visas are for asylum seekers, not for people who just want to stay longer in Australia to work

are aware of the adverse consequences of lodging a non-genuine Protection visa application

don’t fall prey to migration scams or unlawful providers of immigration assistance.

Please refer to the attached flyer for more information in relation to protection visas.

Kind regards,

CTI Administration
