IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT- Weather event - Further update

by Vaishnavi Muthyam Venkata -

Dear Students,

Good evening.

Given the severe weather forecast associated with Tropical Cyclone Alfred, our priority is the safety of our staff and students.

CTI will be closed on Thursday, 6 March, and Friday, 7 March due to flood risks on our campuses, potential operational impacts and the wide geographic spread of our staff and students' travel routes.

All classes scheduled for Thursday & Friday across our Brisbane and Gold Coast campuses will be held online. Attendance will be taken as usual for both days.

We want to clarify arrangements for this week due to the uncertainty of the weather and provide everyone with the opportunity to make further arrangements. While this was a difficult decision to make, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. This decision has been made to minimise risks and ensure everyone's safety is the priority.

It is expected that CTI will resume on Monday, 10 March. Further communication will be provided on Sunday 9 March via myCTI.

Take care and stay safe!

Kind regards,

CTI Management

At this stage, all College operations and activities are continuing as usual. If there are any changes, we will provide you all with as much advance notice as possible.

CTI BRISBANE CAMPUS BUILDING BASEMENT AREA – NO ACCESS – 19.10.2024 – 01.11.2024 - COMPLAINT FRO BUILDING MANAGEMENT

by Andrea Sequeira -
Dear Staff and Students,

A myCTI broadcast was published on 16/10/2024 informing that the basement area would be inaccessible from 19/10/2024 - 01/11/2024 and bike/scooter users would be required to make alternative arrangements to arrive to CTI Brisbane Campus.

We have received a complaint from the building management that the basement area was accessed and utilised causing shoe mark damage to the wet painted areas.

Further investigations are currently ongoing and once identified the person will be penalised.

Thus, please ensure that the basement area is not utilised to avoid penalties.

Additionally a reminder that bikes and scooters cannot be locked at the front entrance of the building or brought to campus.

Thank - you

CTI Management
