Dear CTI Students and Staff,
As South East Queensland’s lockdown gets lifted this afternoon, restrictions remain in place for the next 2 weeks.
CTI will resume ON CAMPUS* training effective Monday 9th AUGUST 2021 with the following measures to be followed:
- All staff and students MUST continue to wear a mask while on campus ( NO MASK, NO CLASS). Masks must be worn whilst in class by all trainers and students including during lectures and presentations.
- Cookery students undertaking practical activities in the kitchen must have masks on at all times.
- Masks can be taken off when eating and drinking.
- All staff and students MUST continue to check in via the QR Code. These codes will be accessible at reception ( on levels 1 & 8) ; Commercial Kitchen entrance and on every class door. Trainers must confirm the students' check in prior to them entering the class and kitchen areas.
- All students must continue to wipe down their work stations prior to and at the end of every session.
- All guests and visitors must be checked in via the QR code.
- If you or your students are sick/ unwell/ experiencing flu like symptoms please stay at home and get tested ASAP.
- If you have received notification from QLD Health to get tested and quarantine, please forward the email and test results to me at andrea@cti.qld.edu.au. If trainers receive such a notification, classes will be conducted online and students notified. If students opted for on campus study receive such a notification will be provided with a link to participate via the online mode.
We take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the training staff and students for your tremendous patience and understanding with our online classes last week. It is never an easy task for trainers to conduct and facilitate online classes and students to participate and maintain the same level of engagement, so thank you and glad to be back on campus this week.
*Certificate IV in Project Management class - Please await a separate email regarding your classes on Monday, 09/08/2021.
