Dear Students & Staff,
As per the recent announcement made by Queensland Premier, Annastacia Palaszczuk; four of the new coronavirus cases are locally acquired, with Brisbane to go into a three-day lockdown effective 5pm today, 29/03/2021. This includes the Ipswich, Logan, Redlands, Moreton and Brisbane council areas.
During this three-day lockdown; masks will be mandatory and essential services will continue to remain open. People will only be able to leave their homes for essential reasons like grocery shopping, exercise, essential work and medical care
As such effective/from 5pm today 29/03/2021 until the lockdown seizes (hopefully Thursday, 01/04/2021)all scheduled classes will be held/delivered online via Zoom. (Note: This is only applicable to classes that are not on a term break this week.)
For Cookery classes this week only the theory component of the unit will be delivered online via Zoom and the Practical component will be scheduled over next week.
The Campus will remain closed from 5pm today until Thursday, 01/04/2021.
Your trainers will email you a Zoom invite link prior to your classes to participate this week.
