Dear Students and Staff,

A significant and positive step today after the lockdown measures on Friday. The Premier announced this morning that most of the lockdown measures for Greater Brisbane would ease from 6:00 PM tonight.

This follows another day of no local COVID cases and is the best possible outcome. Residual measures will remain in place for the next ten days to Friday 22 January, specifically the mask requirements for many activities.

In line with these recent measures, below steps are to be carried out whilst on CTI Campus until 22/01/2021 or further notice:

  1. All CTI Students and Staff whilst on campus must wear a mask.

Note: Trainers may remove mask whilst lecture delivery but must ensure that they maintain a 1.5m distance from students whilst doing so.

  1. Continue to use the hand sanitizers as required and wipe down classroom equipment & work station prior and post use with wipes provided in each classroom.
  1. Daily temperature checks will be conducted by CTI staff prior to Session 1 commencement at 9:00 am

Note: Trainers to direct any late comers to reception for a temperature check. Trainer to conduct temperature checks for evening sessions.

  1. Students to depart from college as soon as class is over.

Please Note: The tea and coffee facilities will temporarily be suspended on both levels. During lunch breaks please avoid crowding at the microwave and kitchenette area. No friends will be permitted on campus premises.

Well done to all of us for achieving this result for QLD !

If you are unwell or develop any symptoms please do not attend class or campus and get yourselves examined. Please email your teacher or/and us in such situations.

Take care and Stay Safe !
